In a recent post (I’m so sorry for psychology’s loss, whatever it is), I included a tweet from the psychologist Paul Bloom asking people to nominate major recent discoveries in the field. The answers to Bloom’s tweet, I pointed out, were not very encouraging. “Monkeys pay for sex,” etc.
